ITL Video Codec

Specifications

The Codec is a 4U rack mount enclosure. The base unit has 16 inputs and can be expanded to 32, 48 or 64 channels. Each channel has an audio and video standard RCA input. Each group of 16 are arranged on a 1U rack mount strip. A fully expanded Codec with 64 channels would use up a 4U space for the enclosure and 4 1U RCA strips.

Connections:
Rear of the Codec has standard PC connections for VGA, USB, 1GB Ethernet, keyboard and power. A DB25 and DB15 connector pairs for each 16 input 1U strip. Two DB9 connectors for the 16 IR pigtails. A ¼ Sony jack for the IR learning box.

Input specifications:
Each RCA 1U strip has16 pairs of audio / video inputs. 1vp-p. 75 ohm impedance video and 600 ohm impedance audio.
